Start with an inventory
List the events and ticket types you want to move. Have tickets already been sold, payments started or refunds promised? An existing QR ticket does not automatically become a valid TixBeam ticket. Agree on how to handle old tickets and admission checks, or start the new environment with the next edition.
This checklist is preparation, not an import tool for tickets or guest information.
Build the new sales setup
Create the event, check its date and venue, and configure ticket types, prices and capacity. Add branding and connect your chosen payment provider. Review sales periods for each ticket type. Publish when the offer, conditions and contact information are complete and understandable.
Compare overall capacity with tickets already sold through other channels.
Rehearse the visitor journey
On a phone, go from the event page through ordering, payment and ticket email. Then check the ticket at the entrance and try a duplicate scan. Use a demo or test environment; the rehearsal must not accidentally charge real money. Ask a team member to follow the route without instructions and note where they hesitate.
A good sales button needs a working payment, ticket email and scanner behind it.
Choose a clear changeover time
Replace website, social and confirmation links according to an agreed schedule. For a custom domain, follow the domain instructions and check access after the change. Keep the old administration accessible for earlier orders. Give your team a short briefing on which tickets require which checking process.
