Sell tickets with your own Stripe account

Your ticket shop.Your Stripe account.

Connect Stripe from your workspace, then choose which provider handles online checkout. Connecting an account and activating it for sales are two separate steps.

Connect. Check. Activate.

Explore four steps without connecting a real account.

1 / 4

Open Payment providers

Select the correct organisation and open Sales channels → Payment providers. Mollie is still active in this example.

Mollie remains active

Stripe not connected yet

All statuses are fictional. Connecting is not a bank payout and does not move existing Mollie payments.

01

Choose where proceeds are collected

With the own-account connection, your organisation receives payments in the connected Stripe account. This differs from collection through TixBeam with a later settlement. Choose the route that fits your organisation and check the account selected. Only an authorised owner or administrator should connect it.

In your workspace, open Sales channels → Payment providers and check the organisation first.

02

Complete authorisation at Stripe

Connect takes you to Stripe to select the correct account and confirm access. Stripe may require further business or verification details. Complete those steps at Stripe and return to TixBeam. Do not share secret API keys with your team or by email: the self-service connection uses the provided authorisation flow.

The walkthrough here does not open or connect a real Stripe account.

03

Connecting does not switch checkout automatically

TixBeam uses one active provider for new online payments. You can connect an account without immediately replacing the current Mollie selection. Explicitly choose Stripe and check production versus test mode. Existing payments remain with the provider that created them; changing the active provider does not move them to Stripe.

After saving, check the active-provider summary at the top of the settings page.

04

Check the complete payment route

Available methods depend on your Stripe account, approval and settings. Test checkout, return to the shop and ticket issuance after successful payment. Provider charges and TixBeam ticket fees are separate costs. Receiving a payment is not a bank payout: available payouts follow Stripe’s settings for your account.

Use a test environment for the rehearsal. Check production settings again before launch.
