Two providers to choose from
Mollie or Stripe, on your own account. For a Dutch audience Mollie is the usual choice, because iDEAL is a given there.
Payment methods
TixBeam is provider-neutral. You connect your own Mollie or Stripe account, decide there which payment methods you offer, and the money arrives without a stop at ours.
How the payment runs
Whoever holds the money decides when you get it. So we do not hold it.
Mollie or Stripe, on your own account. For a Dutch audience Mollie is the usual choice, because iDEAL is a given there.
Which payment methods your visitor sees is up to your own provider account. Enable iDEAL, Bancontact or cards there and they appear in your checkout.
The payment does not run through an account of ours. There is no platform payout to wait for and no balance sitting somewhere.
Paid, abandoned, expired or refunded: the order follows what the provider reports, and the tickets follow the order.
You refund with your provider and it carries through to the order: the tickets lapse and the platform fee is corrected.
Paying online and settling in cash at the counter can exist side by side, set per event.
Payment methods
Which methods appear here is what you enabled in your own provider account.
Getting started
01
Create or use your own account with Mollie or Stripe. That account stays yours, with your terms and your rates.
02
You put your provider's keys into your workspace. From then on payments for your events run through your account.
03
In your provider account you decide which payment methods you offer. Your visitor sees in the checkout what you enabled there.
04
The payout follows the schedule you agreed with your provider. We are not in between.
Example
Where the money passes on a night of 400 tickets.
We never see the money. Which is also why we cannot hold it, net it off or pay it out later.
