Start with the event, not a ranking
A community evening and a festival with several entrances need different things. Write down expected ticket volumes, payment methods and admission staffing. Verify reserved seats, time slots and hospitality payments separately. A ticket shop with QR checks does not imply those other capabilities. The selection guide highlights questions to ask; it is not an independent certification.
Ask every provider to demonstrate your actual scenario.
Compare costs on the same basis
A per-ticket headline is not the total. Check VAT, payment processing, charges per ticket versus per order and payment-method differences. TixBeam charges €0.25 excluding VAT per sold ticket, with provider costs separate. WeTicket publishes separate per-ticket platform and payment fees. Ticketkantoor publishes an inclusive tariff for specified methods. Check the applicable Weeztix offer directly: dynamic price fields are not evidence of a zero tariff.
Include refunds, complimentary tickets and additional services in your comparison.
Test the whole journey, including exceptions
Create a trial event and open its ticket shop on your phone. Inspect the total, complete a test payment and read the confirmation. Scan a valid ticket and scan it again. Ask a helper to select the correct evening without coaching. This compares the actual process rather than screenshots. Ask about order exports, customer data and support when a visitor needs help.
Use test payments and fictional guests throughout your evaluation.
Choose the responsibility you want
TixBeam supports your own identity and a connected payment-provider account. Provider verification and terms are therefore part of preparation. Another service may collect payments and settle under its own conditions. Neither model is automatically best for every organiser. Compare them against your budget, organisation and support needs. This comparison is written by TixBeam; official sources below may change.
Keep the quote and conditions applicable to your event.
