Sell extra products with event tickets

More than admission.Their whole evening.

Let guests arrange admission and extras in one order. Clear product names and a separate collection process help your team see what was purchased and what has already been handed out.

01

Separate admission from collection

02

Reuse your product catalogue

01

Make the offer specific

A pack of five drink tokens, a meal or an event package: describe exactly what the buyer receives. Include quantities, conditions and the collection point. A product purchase does not automatically provide event admission; the guest uses their admission ticket for that. For a package, explain which part provides entry and which extras it includes.

Use a name like ‘5 drink tokens’ rather than simply ‘tokens’.

02

Reuse products for each edition

Keep recurring products in your organisation’s catalogue and select them when configuring an event. Review the price, stock and description for each edition. A familiar name does not mean last year’s conditions still apply. Test the combination of admission and products as a visitor before opening sales.

Check the order on a phone: can guests distinguish tickets from extra products?

03

Collect at the right station

Ask staff to choose Products in the scanner. Admission checking and product collection are separate actions. Staff need the appropriate collection permissions. Check the voucher before handing over the items and follow the confirmed quantity. A used or invalid voucher should be checked against the order by someone responsible.

Brief the bar and entrance teams separately. A successful admission scan does not prove a token purchase.

04

Prevent a second collection

A redeemed product must not be handed out again against the same voucher. Product checks record collection; staff should read the current result. Use a working connection for shared collection status and test with multiple devices. This demo illustrates one fictional pack per check and cannot change real stock or vouchers.

Before opening, test both an unused voucher and one that has already been redeemed.
