Start with your TixBeam subdomain
Your organisation has its own TixBeam address for initial sales. A custom domain adds a familiar entrance, such as a ticketing subdomain of your website. You do not need to move the entire company website. This walkthrough uses a reserved example domain; it neither registers a domain nor changes a DNS provider.
Choose an address you intend to keep.
Verify that you control the domain
Add the address in organisation domain settings and follow the ownership instructions shown there. Copy personal verification values from that workspace, not a generic guide or this demo. Entering an address alone does not activate it for sales. Keep the person managing your DNS available during setup so the correct records can be added.
Use the current verification values from your workspace.
Follow DNS instructions for this exact address
A subdomain may require a CNAME record and additional verification. The workspace provides the actual names and values. Do not casually alter email records or your main website configuration. DNS changes are not visible everywhere simultaneously, and successful ownership verification does not establish that configuration is complete. Check both before promoting the address.
Change only the records needed for this connection.
Use the address after activation is confirmed
Check TixBeam’s domain status, then open the address over HTTPS. Test event links, language selection, mobile ticket choices and return from a test payment. A pending domain is not a reliable campaign destination. The demo only steps through an example; real activation depends on DNS, verification and your organisation’s actual domain configuration.
Test the activated address before printing it on a poster.
